Overview:

4 1/2 day Work Week for Psychiatrist for Inpatient Unit-Physician Only


Buy a beach house on the Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Beach. Work in Valdosta, Georgia/North Florida until Friday at lunch. Then drive a couple of hours to your beach house, enjoy the weekend. No Call, plenty of time and money to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Drive back Monday morning.

Responsibilities:

Summary:

  • Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
  • Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
  • One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
  • Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Board certification in psychiatry
  • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
