About the Opportunity:
•Job Title: AOI Inspector/Operator I
•Pay: $20/Hour
•Location: Anoka, MN
•Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM with optional O/T.
Daily functions:
Accurately perform automated optical (AOI) inspection of assemblies in production mode, including shutdown and start-up. Perform equipment non-routine and weekly/monthly preventative maintenance. Understand all production processes that relate to inspection; use industry standards and good judgement in determining acceptable standards. Read and comprehend documentation relating to phases of production, such as customer-supplied blueprints, parts lists, etc. Act as an authorized agent to stop production when nonconformance's are noted and report any errors or major discrepancies to the Group Leader immediately, so immediate corrective action may be taken. Record all AOI daily run information, keep accurate and detailed records. Keep rejected product segregated from accepted. Responsible for compliance to Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer. Desired qualifications:
High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred, or related work experience 1-3 years' experience preferred. Some basic troubleshooting on surface mount machines, reading and understanding technical documents such as blueprints, bill of materials, workmanship standards, equipment procedures, and other related documents. Basic mathematics and data entry skills required. Basic knowledge of electronic assembly helpful and inspection experience preferred. Physical requirements:
Lifting 30lbs Sitting for long durations of time Ability to perform high manual dexterity and repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for up to 8 to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 25 pounds. Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors. Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
