Position Summary: Warehouse associates are responsible for the timely receiving of materials, components and products, material handling by conveying the needed items from the warehouse to the appropriate production lines, performing cycle counts. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS Receives, verifies and files all paperwork for inbound materials. Unload trucks as required and verify freight bills. Stock materials on shelves, racks and bins per inventory management procedures. Expedite receipt of all "hot list" items and tag as such for ease of identification. Organize inventory stock. Replenish materials to value streams. Complete daily cycle counts and cycle count transactions. Review, investigate and analyze root causes of cycle count variances to improve accuracy. Responsible for the accurate, complete and timely computer entries to insure the proper control of parts and products. Operates tier-lift truck, fork truck, or hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments. Maintains a safe and orderly work area and practice good housekeeping procedures in the assigned area. Perform cycle count daily Other tasks as may be assigned by Supervisor ACCOUNTABILITY Adherence to all safety regulations and proper and safe storage of parts.
