  • Position Template – Mercy Hospital Springfield Neurology 6C requires a dedicated RN specializing in Tele with 1 year tele inpatient experience. Night shifts from 1900-0700 with a 36 or 48 hour guarantee per week. The assignment is for 13 weeks.
  • Position Information includes Role: RN, Specialty: Tele, Number of Openings: 1, Shift: Nights, Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48, Assignment Length: 13 weeks, Weekend Hours: As required by facility, Call Requirements: None.
    Job Requirements
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Tele, inpatient only
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: 1 year Neuro, inpatient only
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Neuro, Med, Med tele
  • Personality Fit: Determined, decisive, flexible
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend Hours: As required by facility
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 32
  • Patient Ratios: varies. Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7. We do not guarantee ratios.
  • Equipment: Tele, Lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps
  • EMR: EPIC
    Additional Details
  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
  • Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
  • Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
  • Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
