Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking an exceptional, collaborative physician leader to join their program as the Coastal Market Leader for Oncology/Hematology in Wilmington, NC and the surrounding region.
Opportunity Highlights:
- The Coastal Market is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. The institute includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across the state of NC.
- The program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization, team based multi-disciplinary care and access to clinical trials.
- Provider will be on active medical staff with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center and part of Novant Medical Group.
Responsibilities & Duties: - This role will involve administrative (.4 FTE) and clinical (.6 FTE) duties.
- Lead a group of 30+ providers at 7 clinic locations and collaborates with the market leadership and administration of 3 hospitals in the region.
- Partnered with an administrative dyad, will be responsible for the quality, safety, patient experience, financial growth and strategy objectives of the market.
Candidate Qualifications: - Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience as a physician leader and continued formal development as a leader is encouraged while in this role.
