**APPLY TO START THE JOB ASAP****Job Title: Forklift Operator****Job Description**As a Forklift Operator, you will perform a variety of duties including picking lumber, masonry, and building materials and staging them for customers and deliveries. Essential functions of the role include servicing customers in a polite, courteous, friendly, and professional manner, safely and accurately loading and unloading delivery and tractor-trailer trucks, and maintaining the integrity of products through proper handling and storage. You will be responsible for general housekeeping to ensure our warehouse/yard standards are met in a safe and professional manner, including sweeping, consolidation of product, facility maintenance, organizing product, and other tasks as necessary. Additionally, you will replace stock as received/sold, ensure stock is stacked correctly and neatly to preserve the quality of the product, keep yard and building areas clean, free of debris, and organized, and report and process damaged, and unsaleable stock. You will also request and place any needed signage within the assigned area per company guidelines. Further responsibilities include accurately pulling all necessary products for needed transfers, work orders, or deliveries, communicating any discrepancies immediately with the person on Duty, staging or palletizing products in a safe and secure manner, and processing all paperwork in a timely fashion. Safety protocols are paramount, and you will be expected to unload and load vehicles safely and securely, complete Forklift Pre-Trip Inspections and accompanying documentation, maintain OSHA Forklift Operator certification, and follow all safety regulations required by OSHA and the company.
