About the job Production Operator
Job Description:
As a Production Operator, you will follow detailed instructions to set up and adjust machines.
You will be responsible to load materials into machines, test and measure finished products,
and record your activities and manufacturing levels. In addition, as a production operator, you
must adhere to safety guidelines and ensure that final products meet high-quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Setup, adjust and monitor the production equipment and supplies before producing
products.
2. Measure and document all ingredient information following the run sheet (batch record)
according to the SOP (standard operating procedure) and work instructions.
3. Ensure all equipment cleaning and labeling is performed before and after producing a
batch and record in the cleaning logs per cGMP requirements.
4. Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality;
troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes.
5. Report any unsafe, abnormal, or questionable occurrences to the Production
Engineer/Operations Manager.
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment and follow safety procedures by
complying with company procedures and policies.
7. Work under the guidance of the Production Engineer/Operations Manager to perform
and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.
