Transcribes technical medical data from recorded dictation; audits, sorts and files copies of transcribed reports; and updates physician's office listing to ensure proper receipt of transcribed reports. Performs other clerical duties as required and maintains the physical environment of the area.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Must have graduated from high school or have evidence of the equivalent. Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum Experience: Must be able to type 55 wpm.
- Preferred Experience : WordPerfect experience. One year of medical transcription experience and one year as a secretary.
