Purpose: Responsible for reviewing loan packages to ensure all aspects of the underwriting process has been properly completed and that it adheres to company policies and procedures. The Loan Processor reviews the information on the loan application, contract and other documents to determine if the loan applicant meets the loan requirements before it's funded.
Participates in an outbound loan marketing campaign involving multi- media contact with members and prospective members.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for generating loan package requests that come into the department and verifies that loan disclosures are correct and all pertinent paperwork is in place and properly executed before disbursing funds.
- Responsible for eDoc signature packages and imaging all loan packages/lending forms to cold storage
- At the direction of department management, responsible for preparing and processing loan modification agreements/ACH forms/ and other lending related forms
- Responsible for maintaining Indirect Auto Loan packages which includes, but not limited to, scanning files to cold storage/maintaining dealer log/updating application logs.
- Responsible for submitting titles and necessary paperwork to respective DMV offices
- Responsible for perfecting FLFCU liens on titles and maintain accuracy on the title log, which includes following up with requisite staff regarding necessary or additional paperwork and information.
- Responsible for working the paid off loan report and performing necessary duties as they relate to paid off loans.
- Answer inquires via telephone, email, mail and/or in person.
- Ensures stipulations and documentation are in order and valid before submitting the loan for funding.
- Maintain proper surveillance and security over applications being processed and funds being disbursed.
Other Duties and Responsibilities: - Scans completed loan packages in a timely manner and assist others in the department on an as needed basis to complete same assigned task.
- On an as needed basis participate in offsite functions as a representative of the credit union.
- Perform other duties as required by Management.

Education and Training: - High School Diploma.
- On an annual basis is required to complete mandatory Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and Red Flag Identity Theft training.
Prior Experience: - 1-3 years of similar or related experience with at least 1 year in lending. Prior credit union or financial institutional experience preferred.
- Prior sales experience helpful.

Other Special Skills and Abilities: - Strong working knowledge of all FLFCU products and services.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics or situations.
- Must be willing to reach out and call members to solicit loan business.
- Strong proficiency with all Microsoft applications.
- General knowledge of credit union lending policies and procedures (internal).
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including phones, scanners, faxes, etc.
Physical Demands: The need for physical stamina is low to moderate.
Working Conditions: Minimal adverse working conditions. Some fluctuations in temperature experienced in office setting. May need to work beyond normal working hours, pending organization needs.
