MISSION To load outgoing trailers with finished retreads in a safe, secure, efficient, and DOT-compliant manner with a forklift. Likewise, to unload tires from incoming trailers for production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Load outgoing trailers for delivery of retreads and rejects to customers safely and securely
- Unload incoming trailers
- Run scanners
- Unload and store incoming supplies and raw materials
- Secure all loads properly using proper stacking techniques and chains within the trailer
- Drive forklift to move tires into and out of trailers and around the dock area
- Maneuver trucks and trailers around the yard as necessary
- Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance dock, warehouse, and yard area
- Embrace Purcell's culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
- Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
- Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
- Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS - Minimum Education: High School
- Minimum Job-Specific Experience: 1-2 years
- Management Experience: N/A
- Driver's License Required: Yes
- Other Job-Specific Licenses or Certifications Required: OSHA-Approved Forklift training a plus, DOT training

Tools & Technology KSA's: - Truck & Trailer - The ability to safely drive a truck and trailer including maneuvering turns, stopping the vehicle, driving on the highway, driving in communities, and backing the truck and trailer to a dock.
Communication KSA's: - Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
