Performs all administrative duties required to convert engineering data into shop fabrication data to communicate to the production line what needs to be manufactured.
- Performs all clerical tasks associated with releasing a job into the shop
- Creates applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and the computerized manufacturing equipment.
- Creates job folders, Generates the shop drawings by work center
- Batches jobs and creates cutting reports
- Simultaneously creates the automated saw files and projection fabrication files
- Releases job to production team, Updates scheduling status
- Edits work order in On-Line Software for shop labor totals
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 18 months of truss fabrication experience.
