Job Details

Travel/Contract nursing position available
Registered Nurse specialty
Minimum of 3 Years experience required
Traveler Experience: unit does NOT accept first time travelers
Must be incredibly flexible; shift will cover medical/surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke care
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum
SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: FLOAT POOL UNIT

Job Requirements

RTO after booking not allowed; RTO may lead to cancel
Skills: Telemetry, Vents
Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH

Schedule Information

Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours only, Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025
Float Requirement: Yes, to three separate campuses
Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
SCHEDULING TYPE: Based on scheduling gaps
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours

Unit Specific Information

Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses
Candidates will float all medical/surgical floors, PCU’s, Cardiac floors, Rehab, BHH, PACU

Additional Details

Travelers must provide interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting
Ratios: 1:3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S)
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
SCRUBS: Navy
Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
