    Job Requirements
  • 2 years + of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required
  • 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - Two years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience Required
  • Experience with critical care management of disease processes (respiratory illnesses, sepsis, DKA)
  • Experience with pressure lines (primarily CVPs, arterial lines, some UAC/UVC)
  • Experience managing ventilated patients (HFOV, VDR, Servo)
  • Experience with drips (epi, nor-epi, milrinone, dopamine, precedex, etc.)
  • Experience with complex trauma patients (EVDs, Codmans, neuro assessments)
  • Experience with complex pediatric postop patients (congenital anomalies/craniofacial, tracheostomies, etc.)
    Schedule Information
  • Shift Detail: NIGHTS
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift/Workdays: NIGHTS
  • Weekend – Discuss during the interview
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36
    Unit Specific Information
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Procedures performed on unit: Foley insertions, trans-pyloric feeding tubes, dressing changes (wound and CVL), port access, etc.
  • Patient Experience Required: Two years of management of pediatric critical care patients in high acuity setting.
    Additional Details
  • Floating policy: As needed
  • Dress Code: RN - Blue
  • Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
  • Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
  • Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible
  • Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
