The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is a vital position that involves providing compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities or medical conditions. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for these individuals through various activities and assistance.

Responsibilities for the Direct Support Professional DSP:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines.
• Support individuals in their educational or vocational activities.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and provide transportation if needed.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.

Requirements for the Direct Support Professional DSP:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
