Job Description
Looking for a Gastroenterology Physician to start ASAP - ongoing.
  • ASAP - ongoing
  • Clinic schedule Monday Thursday 8-430, Friday 8-1. Endoscopy schedule Monday Friday 8-5
  • Call, if required, will be 1 weekend per month and night call - all negotiable
  • 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient, but may vary
  • Hospitalist or GI providers handle admissions
  • EMR: Expanse for general patient care, Provation is new software for scopes.
  • Olympus scopes
  • Patients per day: Scoping 8+, office 12+
  • 2 GI's and 2 APP's
  • APP's do morning rounds/consults. If provider is on call, then they may be asked to round on a patient
  • Credentialing 45 days, but temps can be granted sooner
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required
  • Active MI license or IMLC qualified - Required
  • BLS, ACLS - Required
  • Flu vaccine - Required - note at time of presentation
  • COVID vaccine - Highly Preferred, but not mandatory at this time
