This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments. We have an immediate opening for an experienced and dedicated part-time Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative to join the team in our busy Greenwood Village, CO office. The schedule is working every weekend Saturday and Sunday 6:30AM to 2:30PM with occasional holiday shifts.Pay up to $21How You'll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative is responsible for:High volume of phlebotomyMaintain supplies for the blood drawing stationsEnsure lab specimens are sent to proper labsDocument patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient recordsUtilize the computer in entering labs and printing labelsProvide high level of customer service to patientsSchedule appointments, answer phone callsCheck patients in/outPrescription refillsPre-authorizations for medicationWhat You'll Bring:The skills and education we need are:Must have completed formal MA education/certificationStrong phlebotomy skills are requiredExtensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billingBackground in women's health and fertility/IVF experience preferredStrong patient orientation and be a team playerProfessionalism and strong customer service skills a mustMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
