Description POSITION SUMMARY The Production Line Operator 1 is responsible for, but not limited to operating assigned machine(s) and area 6S Maintenance/Housekeeping.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:
- Operate machine according to the On-the-Job-Training (OJT) and/or machine operation procedures.
- Machine set-up, perform changeovers, and basic troubleshooting according to work instructions.
- Responsible for keeping the area clean and maintaining a safe work environment (i.e., mopping, sweeping, collapsing cardboard & stacking on pallet, beginning & end of shift disinfecting of machines).
- Maintaining area 6S program.
- Assisting Line Lead with the Production process as needed.
- Understand all quality aspects of product. (i.e., traceability codes, identifying trilingual codes, and GHS pictograms)
- Flushing process per work instructions.
- Filling containers from the boards.
- Rotating to other lines when assigned line is down or when needed.
- In some areas manual operations may apply (stacking cases on pallets, loading bottles, loading empty boxes, and loading rolls of labels on the line).
- Other Assigned projects.

- Demonstrates ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors on factory equipment.
- Possesses knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment.
- Is familiar with and follows all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime
Employees are expected to work productively and safely
2nd shift hours are 4:30pm -3:00am
