As the Construction Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the success of our construction projects. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction and financial management. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and project profitability. 2. Financial Reporting and Controls: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies. Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. 3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for ongoing construction projects. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing. 4. Cost Control and Analysis: Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure adherence to budgets. Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize resource allocation. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce construction costs. 5. Financial Systems and Technology: Utilize SAGE and Sage 300 software to manage construction financials effectively. Maintain and update financial systems, ensuring accurate and timely data entry. Provide training and support to team members on financial software and tools. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction financial management or a similar role. Strong understanding of construction industry financials, including project budgets, costs, and revenue recognition. Proficient in using SAGE and Sage 300 software for construction accounting.
