Location/Division Specific Information: Fremont, CA - 46500 Kato Rd / Clinical Diagnostics Division
How Will You Make an Impact?: As a Senior Material Handler, you will follow and train others on standard operating procedures. You will investigate and solve inventory errors and recommend process improvements. You will work in a warehouse environment where you will receive and complete orders in a safe, accurate and timely manner including placing all incoming and outgoing materials, finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in the applicable staging, shipping, receiving or storage locations.
A Day in the Life: - Work effectively as part of a team, assisting with training and mentoring
- Learn, understand, and demonstrate correct and safe material handling procedures, training others on warehouse documents and procedures
- Receive all incoming shipments that come in daily, rotate and separate lots on storage shelf, and maintain accurate inventory in designated warehouses and locations
- Investigate and resolve inventory errors, recommending process improvements
- Prepare and document material movement, updating inventory management system accordingly
- Actively participate in process improvements and continuous improvement activities
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: - Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
- Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Excel in a team environment
- Good verbal/written communication
- Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
- Ability to perform repetitive work duties
- Ability to follow SOPs, ISO guidelines and complete accurate documentation according to cGMP requirements
- Ability to use various tools and equipment such as computers, scanners, tape guns, pallet jacks, and forklifts
Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
- Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
- Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling

Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $20.23-$30.34.
