JOB SUMMARY Saint Croix is looking for a professional with personal style and retail experience to work at our Birmingham, MI, store. The ideal candidate will be flexible and work 20 - 25 hours weekly. Availability for evenings and weekends is required.
You will assist customers in the Saint Croix store in finding the right products to suit their needs based on fashion, color, and individual style. You must be outgoing, welcoming, and driven and enjoy building strong customer relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Opening and closing duties.
- Communicate daily with the Store Manager and Store Associates to ensure open communication and consistent customer service.
- Converse with customers to understand the products they are looking for and offer suggestions based on what is learned through qualifying questions.
- Provide accurate product knowledge and benefits to customers and maintain a strong knowledge of current product offerings and inventory levels.
- Manage each sales process from beginning to end with professionalism and care.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling all customer interactions professionally, whether in the store, over the phone, or responding to email or social media posts.
- Meet and exceed personal monthly sales goals.
- Unpack and place new merchandise on the sales floor
- Create unique displays and help organize the store and merchandise.
- Handle cash, check, and credit card payments
- Complete all tasks given in a timely and efficient manner.
- Light cleaning
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned or apparent.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE - High School Education
- 1 year of retail experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS CONTACTS: External and Internal contacts - Continuously (67 - 100%) Contacts involve giving or exchanging information of a limited, controversial nature.
Regularly - Communicates via phone, email, or in person.
- Required to stand for long periods of time - stocking inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
- Operates a computer and other office equipment such cash register, printer.
- Visually see color and patterns to coordinate outfits
Frequently - Talk and hear to coordinate day-to-day phone and in-person transactions
Occasionally - Required to sit and perform keyboard work for prolonged periods of time
