  • Assessment skills include competent knowledge of all normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric, systematic and comprehensive patient care.
  • Consistent demonstration of competent clinical skills with emphasis on delivering appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit.
  • Maintains complete and accurate documentation with primary responsibility for documenting nursing process and patient progress.
  • Professionalism in practice, knowledge of policies and procedures, and identification of areas for clinical and professional growth.
  • Prioritizes patient satisfaction and confidentiality according to HIPPA guidelines to maintain a patient-centered environment.
  • Follows National Patient Safety Goals, safe transfer techniques, and proper body mechanics.
  • Unit-specific knowledge pertaining to surgical patients, individualized patient care, and assessment of patient reactions.
  • Responsibility and accountability for patient care, prioritizing based on patient needs and condition changes.
  • Engagement in patient education related to surgical procedures, ensuring patient and family members' understanding.
  • Duties specific to Pre Admission Testing RN include timely completion of patient testing and evaluation of PAT orders.

    Schedule Information
