  • Documentation system: Meditech using EBCD (Evidence Based Clinical Documentation)
  • Shift are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend.
  • Holiday requirements
  • Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
  • Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, completion of "My Care Board" during hand-off report; use of AIDET with a focus on compassionate connected care.

  • ICU experience

  • Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge
  • Thorough and accurate assessment skills
  • Proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems
  • Don and Doff of PPE
  • Procedures performed on unit: Intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain placement and management, IABP management, continual renal replacement therapy (CRRT), proning of patients.
    Schedule Information
  • All nursing shifts are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend.

  • Floating policy: Nursing staff will float as needed with a priority focus on Intensive Care Units.
