Description
PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Materials Handler for our Tulsa, OK location. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.
POSITION SUMMARY : Actively maintain warehouse inventory to support the organization's manufacturing process.
•Receives incoming shipments and compares products to information recorded in the database, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
•Examines shipments for discrepancies in quantity and description, and reports problems to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner.
•Verify heat lot to certifications and print heat certifications when receiving and when pulling material.
•Accurately maintains inventory data in database.
•Pulls parts according to customer and shop orders and delivers parts to designated staging areas.
•Maintain the appearance of the warehouse by sweeping and organizing.
•Maintain basic quality requirements/ISO Awareness.
•Utilize the forklift operations in moving inventory.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
•Six plus (6+) months experience working in a raw materials warehouse; preferably with metals. Experience operating a forklift truck to move product around warehouse and load truck.
•Cross-trained in other positions within the warehouse.
•Experience handling both external and internal customers, building relationships and good customer service.
•Experience driving trucks, both with manual and automatic transmissions.
•Experience working with Purchase orders and routers.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Material management tracking software. MS Office software
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES :
Valid Oklahoma Drivers license with minimal or no points on driving record. Able to be certified to safely operate a forklift.
