Shure is hiring for a Human Resources Coordinator to support our recruiting and onboarding functions, as well as general HR support. This coordinator will report to the Manager of HR & Talent Acquisition and is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties as well as assisting in various projects within the Recruitment/Talent Acquisition area to ensure that candidates and Associates consistently have a high quality interviewing and on-boarding experience. This may include organizing recruiting events, new hire orientation, supporting the robust internship program, career fairs, award celebrations, etc. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the HR Division including invoices, meeting organization, catering, etc. This role will assist in maintaining our applicant tracking system (iCIMS) data, including data accuracy, and makes suggestions for process improvement and optimization.
This role will be onsite in our Niles Corporate Headquaters 4 days a week (can be remote one day per week). This role may require additional support at our Chicago or Skokie offices.
Responsibilities:
Organizes weekly New Hire Orientation from gathering all of the new hires documentation (including I9 and e-verify processing), sending out candidate, managers, facilitator and Talent Acquisition emails, creation of new hire folders, organization of new hire swag, and facilitation of orientation in rotation with other teammates.
Provides support to Talent Acquisition team including: scheduling interviews, producing and distributing necessary information for candidate and interview team, arranging travel as necessary, greeting candidate upon arrival, tracking pre-employment screening, and conducting reference checks.
Assists with the College Recruitment program including: scheduling events (career fairs, tech talks, etc), staffing events, arranging travel, maintaining relationship with each school, scheduling and coordinating campus interviews as necessary.
Assists in the planning for the intern program each summer.
Prepares presentations, charts/graphs, spreadsheets, reports and materials for meetings, including recruitment related logs and metrics.
Maintains Applicant Training System (iCIMS) data and new hire reporting.
Organizes and maintains the Associate Referral Program.
Invoice processing and PO creation for the division.
Handles the unemployment claim process in partnership with the HRBPs (HR Business Partners)
Assists with projects relating to systems and process improvements, ensuring timely cost-effective delivery of new systems and process improvements.
Assists with other HR projects to support Training, HR Business Partners, and Total Rewards.
Associate file maintance and filing projects.
Ad hoc administrative support for the divison.
Qualifications:
Completion of high school degree.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as an administrative assistant within a fast paced environment, ideally within HR or recruiting.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience Applicant Tracking Systems is a preferred.
Must be extremely organized and have excellent attention to detail.
Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Ability to interact with Associates at all levels
Good written communication skills required.
Excellent follow-through and customer service skills required.
Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments with little supervision.
