Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Day to day medical care of all person on board and on site first aid care for casualties resulting from accidents
- Overall hygiene quality control of the vessel
- Sampling and testing of potable water
- Arranging first aid exercises and lectures
- Consulting with HSES Manager/ HSES Advisor to arrange training presentations
- Maintaining medical inventory with respect to supply, stock expiry dates, Governmental regulations and first aid boxes
- Recording and controlling of COSHH register
- Familiarity with sections and/or procedures, which are applicable for function, as per vessel manuals, including Company procedures and Safety Management System, when applicable to duties
- Liaising with Master and OCM/Superintendent regarding medical care of all personnel onboard
- Liaising with Master and OCM (when applicable) regarding medical care of divers in saturation
- Practicing full confidentiality in accordance with valid country rules and regulations
- Administrative duties as per Masters instructions
Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education: - Medical Doctor or recognized paramedic training
- Experience working offshore on a marine vessel or oil rig
- Valid Offshore Medical
- BOSIET Training or Equivalent (OPITO approved)
- Fluent both in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of DP Vessel operations
