Job Description
Who We Are: The Kinesioception Section develops automated perception and learning solutions for commercial and government clients in multiple domains including human performance, data science, artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and cognitive performance. Objectives of this Role: Identify and pursue new research directions for current and emerging technologies in machine learning, data science and analytics, and human performance optimization. Join project teams to research new data analysis related objectives for SwRI clients. Find new applications, industries, and clients for novel automation capabilities. Capture new research projects with new and existing clients. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Apply state of the art machine learning software solutions for various intelligent system and data analytics applications. Interact with team members to discuss technical solutions to problems. Develop data analysis software tools and techniques to improve our team's research and development capability. Interact with clients to discuss and propose technical solutions to unique problems. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or directly related with related academic, internships or industry experience. 0-5 years: Understanding, knowledge or experience with machine learning, computer vision, software development, human performance applications or human performance optimization. Must have training in perception (computer vision/image processing), software solutions for various intelligent systems applications, and convolutional neural networks (CNN). Must have C++ and Python knowledge. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
