Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.Location: San MarcosWage: $20 per hour (increase after successful completion of 90 day introductory period; based on performance)Scheduled Days & Hours: Monday-Friday, Occasional Sat/Sun as neededShift 1: 12:00pm-8:30pmShift 2: 3:00pm-11:30pmShift 3: 8:00pm-4:30amIdeal Candidate Criteria: Experience in a food or similar manufacturing environment.Job Duties: The Case Dock Worker is responsible for ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules and to provide assistance to shipping by moving trailers as requested and according to established Company policies and procedures.Responsible for working in a fast paced environment and the orderly assembly, movement and staging of returned milk cases and pallets to facilitate cleaning, remove cases damaged and unfit for service and to receive returned products for examination and classification as acceptable for sale or unacceptable for sale.The Case Dock Worker is responsible for ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules and to provide assistance to shipping as needed and according to established Company policies and procedures.Slide case stacks from trucks using hook or pallet jack, ensure conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases, safely handle all materials.Prioritize which trucks to empty first, handles returned truck inventory product, follow GMPs, maintain clean, sanitary, safe work area, take out receptacles.Observe and clean case washers.Maintain proper documentation and communication as needed.Other duties as needed.Skills Needed: Basic speaking, reading and writing in English for paperwork and computer training purposes. GMP knowledge, able to perform pre-inspections, maintain proper documentation.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is constantly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop. The employee must regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and frequently exposed to cold/warm temperatures. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
