Overview
CHI Good Samaritan is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join our team in Kearney, NE. This 200 bed Level II Trauma center with internal flight and EMS services. It provides comprehensive care not only to Central Nebraska but also serves as a regional referral center. It has a 24-bed open ICU and 24/7 hospitalist service

Practice Details:
  • Anesthesia Team is comprised of 6 physicians
  • Private CRNA group with autonomy to do their own cases
  • Coverage of one hospital
  • Case mix: General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuro, Cardio/Thoracic (optional)
  • EPIC EMR

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

  • Diagnostic Procedures:

    • Perform procedures as needed

  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Qualifications
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
  • A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
Pay Range
$238.49 - $248.22 /hour
