The Division of Hematology-Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking two oncologists or hematologist/oncologists to join the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center. Both positions are for the rapidly enlarging network of ambulatory cancer clinics. The predominant criteria for all appointments are commitment to excellence in clinical care, patient satisfaction, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service. The successful candidate would be board-certified (or eligible, with plans for certification) in Medical Oncology and Hematology with training from an academic medical center.
Our current network includes the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center clinics at Cool Springs, Springhill and Springfield, Hendersonville & Pleasant View- all located within 30 miles of the main campus. All network sites will have telemedicine infrastructure to seamlessly interact with specialists, disease specific tumor boards, and molecular tumor boards at the main campus. This integration enables us to make a greater commitment to patient care and provide all the core services of an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in the community.
The opportunity offers a competitive salary with benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; retirement contribution; tuition benefit for college-bound dependents; professional development funds; and relocation allowance.
