This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.nnWhat You Will Be Doing:nnAs the CRS Tractor Trailer Driver you will be responsible for delivery and pick up of rental equipment to and from the store to the customer’s drop site. The CRS Tractor Trailer Driver will complete pre/post delivery inspections, document drop offs and pickups, and provide familiarization of the equipment with the customer.nnPrimary Responsibilities:nnSafely operate CDL assigned tractor and trailer combinationnnMaintain safe driving record and follow all safety guidelines for operating and loading equipment including the use of proper PPE at all times.nnMaintain written and electronic DOT log book to be 100% in compliance.nnTake digital pictures of all equipment prior to delivery.nnSafely load and unload equipment onto assigned vehicle.nnInspect all equipment for safe operation and cleanliness as final check before leaving yard for delivery.nnObtain customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at time of delivery on >80% of deliveries.nnProvide familiarization overview of equipment to customer upon delivery.nnInspect equipment for customer damage and safe operation before loading from customer location. Take digital pictures of unit at customer location and additional pictures as necessary of obvious or suspected customer damage.nnDemonstrate customer service in a positive manner with fellow employee and representing Yancey with the best impression possible to our external customers as well.nnAdditional Responsibilities:nnParticipate in required safety program and work in a safe mannernnComplete a Driver’s Safety CoursennAdditional duties as assigned by managernnWho We Are Looking For:nnTo be successful in this position you should have prior experience as an equipment delivery driver. You should be a critical thinker, able to lead by example, be comfortable with making decisions, show initiative, and a problem solver.nnEducation/Experience:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent preferrednnRequired Qualifications/Skills:nnValid CDL Class A driver’s licensennAbility to manage electronic log books and delivery software via electronic tabletsnnCapable and competent of operating and loading a variety of machines onto assigned transport vehiclennCustomer service oriented with the willingness to go above and beyond expectations with a rock star attitudennPreferred Qualifications/Skills:nnPrior experience with loading, hauling and unloading small CAT type equipment preferrednnValues:nnAt Yancey Bros.
