Hourly pay rate: $22.00 to $24.00 Schedule: Nights 6:00PM - 6:00AM This position requires a Class A CDL Location Information Located on the Mississippi River near St. Louis, Missouri, the Sauget Cahokia Marine Terminal features 35,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and liquid storage. On-site switching is available for unit and manifest trains.
Position Description The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting products to customer locations. Team member will drive a 10 speed manual, 2020 Peterbilt with end dump trailers. They will haul coal from terminal to Granite City which is about 8.5 miles one way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Drive truck to established destination to load/ unload per customer requirements.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.
- Maintain driver logs.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Remove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle.
- Operate and maintain trucks.
- Help, mentor, and train personnel.
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL License -No manual restriction
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.
Skills and Abilities - Learns from directions, observations, and mistakes and applies procedures using good judgment.
- Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Works well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned.
- Read and accurately interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and federal and state regulations.

- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
- Flexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
