Pediatric PatientnnFor Immediate Consideration please Email me at or Call 865-291-1785nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities:nnResponsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:nnBathing (sponge bath, shower, tub, shampoo)nnBack rubsnnGrooming (nail filing, hair care, oral hygiene)nnChanging bed linennnAssisting patients with dressing and undressingnnSkin care to prevent breakdownnnAssisting the patient with toileting activitiesnnKeeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriatennPlans and prepares nutritious mealsnnAssists in feeding the patient, if necessarynnTakes and records oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)nnAssists with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable, according to the plan if carennAssists with active and passive range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competencynnAssists patient in the self-administration of medicationnnDoes patient’s laundry, as appropriatennMeets safety needs of patients, including proper use of equipment (foot stools, side rails, etc.), maintains compliance with Maxim Falls Prevention program, Infection Control program, and patient-specific Emergency Management plan as applicablennReports patient’s condition and significant changes to the supervising Registered NursennAdherence to Maxim’s documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conductnnOther duties as assignednnMinimum Requirements:nnSuccessful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training and evaluation program as applicable, per State/Federal regulationsnnSuccessful completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides, including successful completion of examinations with score of 80% or higher, and demonstration of all required skills per State/Federal regulationsnnAbility to read and follow written instructions and document care givennnMeets Maxim and applicable State Background Investigation requirementsnnPossession of current CPR certification and First Aid training/certification as applicable, per State regulationsnnParticipation in Tuberculosis screening/testing requirements per Maxim policy and as applicable, per State regulationnnSuccessful completion of Maxim’s orientations/trainings, in-service program, and Maxim training examinations, with a score of 80% or greaternnAbout Maxim Healthcare ServicesnnMaxim Healthcare Services has been making a difference in the lives of our patients, caregivers, employees and communities for more than 30 years.
