And, more than anything, it’s about bringing people together.nnIf you’re ready to be a part of our team, we encourage you to apply.nnJob DescriptionnnPosition SummarynnThe Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager or Manager on Duty with the implementation of safety plans, operating standards and guidelines, troubleshooting, repairs, and performing preventative maintenance required to maintain the physical assets of the property.nnResponsibilitiesnnInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systemsnnOperate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of propertynnPerform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, parking lots, sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, lighting, flooring, and roofnnAssist with maintaining appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment, and toolsnnRepair, modify, move retail merchandising units as needednnAssist in the setup of events and install/take-down mall decornnPerform interior/exterior custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, vacuuming, steam cleaning, gathering trash, empty trash receptacles; operate compactor; and landscapingnnAssist with snow removal by vehicle and/or by hand (if applicable)nnEmbody and support Brookfield Properties’ Safety, Health, and Environment Policy.
