With opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive community of colleagues, St. Luke’s is truly a great place to work.nnWhat You Can Expect:nn-OVERNIGHT Schedule 6pm-6am Friday, Saturday, SundaynnThe Patient Transporter, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facilities.nnTransports patients to and from inpatient units, surgery, therapy, radiology and other areas.nnWill have direct patient contact including, but not limited to, assisting patients into/out of bed, transporting equipment, use of assistive devices, and more to meet the patient needs and clinical efforts to enhance the patient experience.nnRetrieves medical records, laboratory specimens, supplies and medications as required.nnMaintains and cleans transport equipment.nnComplies with established personal protective equipment requirements for protection against exposure to blood, body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation and hazardous substances.nnAdheres to all health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.nnResolves routine questions, issues and problems; refers more complex issues to higher levels.nnMay assist with dispatch coverage as needed.nnMay participate in interview, training and onboarding process.
