Rolla Health and Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing home community located in Rolla, MO, has been rebranded to Aurora Health and Rehabilitation. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a full-time Hospitality Aide to join our team. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
Work schedule: Full-time (35-40 hours per week, some evenings and weekends)
The successful candidate must possess the following skills at a minimum:
- Own the high quality and readiness to receive new and transferring residents into their rooms (bed made, exterior name tag posted, room tidy, welcome toiletries in place, etc.)
- Greet residents and escort them to their room
- Inventory and mark resident's personal possessions, as instructed
- Facilitate gracious and positive introductions for a resident to their roommate, if any, other residents in the facility and staff members, as appropriate
- Ensure that you perform the nursing care procedures that you have been trained and are authorized to do
- Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical
- Remove dirty linens to the proper location (in linen carts, to laundry room) as needed
- Pass clean linens (towels, bedding, wash cloths, etc.)
- Deliver and remove food articles in a timely and efficient manner; includes keeping resident's water pitcher filled and stocked with fresh iced water and within easy reach of residents
