Staff Today Inc. is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work at a facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.nnNeeds:nn10 DCP/CNAnnShift Schedule:nnShifts are SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS Day, 6:30a-3:00p (5 shifts/day), and Evening, 2:30p-11:00p (5 shifts/day)nnDuties:nnAre primarily responsible for ensuring that each Individual's Individualized Plan (IP) is implemented and is in compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.nnDevelop a working knowledge of the residents' programs by reviewing Interdisciplinary Team Members' evaluations and reports and receive staff instruction for all training plans and services.nnAttend and participate in Individuals' Growth Team rounds to develop appropriate Individual Plans and/or services to address individuals' needs as they arise.nnComplete Interdisciplinary notes and unit based forms/logs daily for assigned Individuals, and ensure these reports are submitted within the prescribed timeframes.nnContribute and implement appropriate training plans/supplemental procedures as assigned by the Interdisciplinary Team.nnManage residents' aggressive behaviors, including attempting redirection to effect change/ teach new ways of expressing themselves, taking counts, or utilizing proper restriction/restraint techniques to prevent escalation during crises.nnEnsure the security of all doors and windows, and maintain counts/control of all potentially self-injurious instruments.nnQualifications:nnMinimum two (2) years of experience working in residential facility setting.nnAt least six months of experience with special population needs is preferred, but not required.nnMust have graduated from an accredited high school or possess a high school equivalency certificatennIf interested, please apply through this job post.
