DescriptionnnPosition in the West Place Drop-In Center. The Therapeutic Activities Worker who will model recovery based behavior in a community based behavioral health program. A Drop-In Center is a central place for self-help, advocacy, education and socialization. As a therapeutic activities worker lead the job provides an opportunity for assisting mental health consumers on socializing and networking that addresses the isolation felt by many, especially those in mental health recovery. Acts as a liaison for any issues or concerns within the program to the supervisor or manager as needed.nnFollow an overall rehabilitation philosophy and provide guidance to fellow staff and clients in methods of achieving them.nna.
