DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the CNA supports the continuum of care by providing basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living. Performs uncomplicated technical procedures. Utilizes a variety of technical equipment and supplies. Provides basic patient care support: patient transport, specimen and blood and blood products transport, and inventory management.
This position requires initiative, the ability to prioritize demands and the ability to work in a team environment. Participates in collaborative team environment, including: training and evaluation of peers; scheduling of work; and assisting the administrative functions of the unit.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Active California CNA license.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Demonstrated ability to observe deviations from normal.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) or more years of CNA experience.
- Previous CNA experience in a psych, behavioral, or memory care facility.
- Previous acute care CNA or patient-care experience.
- Knowledge of Epic.
- Bilingual: Spanish/English.
- Medical terminology certificate.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $47,878 - $59,487 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $22.93 - $28.49
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
