Disassembles locks, such as padlocks, safe locks, and door locks, and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs, and other parts. Moves lockpick in cylinder to open door locks without keys. May keep records of company locks and keys.nnThis role will be located in Chantilly, VA, and will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.nnThis is a contingent position based upon contract awardnnWhat You’ll DonnAs a Locksmith, you will:nnInstall locks and security systems.nnDuplicate keys and create master keys.nnChange lock combinations and install safes.nnProvide emergency lockout services.nnMaintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.nnFacilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.nnOther duties as required.nnQualifications:nn5+ years of proven experience as a locksmith or similar role.nnGSA certification required.nnAbility to travelnnFamiliarity with lockpicking tools and techniques.nnExcellent troubleshooting skills.nnAttention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.nnAdaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.nnDecision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.nnClearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
