What We Are Looking For: Woodland Heights Medical Center Cardiac Cath is now hiring a full time RN to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. Our Cardiac Cath department is a 6 bed pre/post recovery, 2 biplane Cath Lab unit. In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of… Associate’s Degree in Nursing/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas Familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures PRN must have previous Cath or ICU experience to be considered for this role REQUIRED: 2 years of full time RN experience in either a hospital ICU unit or a hospital Cath Lab (this is a requirement for this particular position) Working Hours: 6:30am until Monday - Friday Weekend call starts on Friday at 3pm and goes until Monday at 7am 3:1 Patient to RN Ratio (in recovery) Who We Are: Established in 1919, Woodland Heights Medical Center was Lufkin’s first hospital.
