    Certification Details
  • Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.

  • We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who would like to be part of the team in a Magnet® certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center.

  • Appreciates the autonomy and flexibility of working in a variety of critical care settings such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU.
  • Supports and/or engages in Shared Governance at University Hospital.
    Job Requirements
  • Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
  • Floating - Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
  • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
  • ICU experience with adult populations.
  • Must be willing to work with IMC populations too.
  • Must have experience with multiple ICU units (transplant, neuro, trauma, etc).
  • Must have EPIC experience.
  • Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
    Schedule Information
  • 36 hrs/week
  • Evening/Night 8/12 Variable 8/12 hour shifts
  • Evening/night shifts Monday-Friday and every other weekend between the hours 1900-0730.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Traveler will be assigned to critical care settings and may work in Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU depending on staffing needs.
    Additional Details
  • Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position.
  • Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
