    Job Details
  • The registered nurse will perform direct patient/resident care and delegation to patient care technicians in providing care and comfort to the residents.
  • Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained.
  • This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge to care for general surgical and orthopedic surgical patients.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs.
  • Provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
  • Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
  • Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
  • Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
    Job Requirements
  • 2+ years of Med Surg Experience - Required
  • Oncology Experience - Required
  • BLS (AHA) - Required
  • Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
  • Epic Experience - Preferred
  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
    Additional Details
  • Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction, for one 13-week contract).
