    Job Requirements
  • BLS through AHA
  • Management of telemetry
  • Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • O2 Protocol
  • Non-invasive airway management
  • Peripheral line care/management
  • Isolation precaution/PPE
  • Experience with cardiac drips (nitro, Cardizem, amiodarone)
  • Rapid response team activation
  • Computerized documentation
  • Patient ratios: o RN 1:4-6 o CNA 1:6-13 on days and1:10-13 on nights
  • 1 year of experience within the last three years in MS/Tele/PCU
  • No first time travelers
  • Tele skills required for all RNs regardless of unit
    Schedule Information
  • Float Pool (MS/Tele/Stepdown/IMC units)
  • 12 hour nights 1900-0730
  • 13 weeks
  • ASAP start
    Unit Specific Information
  • The Salem Health Float Pool Team supports all adult inpatient units in the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, the Emergency Department, Psychiatric Medical Center, intensive care unit (ICU), inpatient rehabilitation, vascular access and inpatient adult care units.
    Additional Details
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs; can wear all royal blue or can wear black pants, but the top must be Royal blue
