WHAT WILL YOU DO: The College HR Coordinator (Temp) will provide human resources support to the Dean's Office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Creates job postings in Taleo; communicates with departments for any questions or concerns with the job posting; coordinates with Recruiter for all posting issues, posting/closing dates, receiving applications.
- Maintains employment job folders and database.
- Keeps hiring managers up to date on the current interview and recruitment process for staff and temp positions.
- Initiates personnel actions process, monitors personnel action completion status and updates personnel action spreadsheet.
- Creates departmental personnel files and archives the termination files.
- Ensuring onboarding communication is sent to new hires and hiring managers.
- Assist employees with navigating OneUSG Connect and Taleo onboarding process.
- Conducts business with central HR's Talent Acquisition and PantherTemps office.
- Gathers materials to submit staff reclassifications, in-range adjustments and keep track of the progress on department spreadsheet.
- Maintains several departmental databases, and cross references each of these to ensure accurate, up to date information regarding various HR information.
- Provides various reports for internal and external customers.
- Executes other departmental duties as necessary, such as typing general correspondence, transmittals, or reports.
- Performs other duties assigned.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements: - Experience as an HR professional.
- Needs to be a fast learner, self-starter, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
