Shipping & Receiving Associate We are currently seeking candidates with warehouse and shipping experience for a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate with a customer in Medina.
In this position, you will be working at the national headquarters of one of the world's leading distributors of water treatment systems and components, shipping to the United States and worldwide.
Shift: - Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Opportunity for overtime.
- No weekends.
Pay: - $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience and skills
- Receive a pay increase for a good performance review
Key Responsibilities: - Use software system/pick ticket to pull items to fulfill customer's order.
- Properly pack items for shipment or stage for Production assembly.
- Ensure order accuracy with thorough paperwork and product review prior to each order shipment.
- Identify shipping methods and follow required procedures to ensure product is quality checked, packed and labeled appropriately.
- Receive incoming products/off-load truck deliveries.
- Notify management to resolve inventory discrepancies and damaged products.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using hand truck, forklift, or other equipment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of Warehouse, Shipping and Safety experience required.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, including use of scanners, required.
- Ability to lift, lower and slide 50-70 pounds.
- Ability to use small hand tools.
- High-reach forklift experience a plus.
- Basic computer literacy with keyboard skills.
