RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirementsPull orders/components and deliver material to appropriate areas throughout the plant and document in accordance with established proceduresInvestigate and resolve identified problems with ordersUse appropriate software system to verify status of inventoryPerform cycle counts in accordance with established proceduresMaintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiativesPerform kit component picking and assemblyTrack large volumes of parts by job numberDeliver just in time materials to the shop floor for use in the fabrication cellsIdentify urgency and coordinate accordingly to ensure production flowPerform other related duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLSHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to read technical drawingsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to follow specific instruction, manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailPossess computer operating and data entry skills with knowledge of shipping softwareMust be able to work effectively with both internal and external customersMust be flexible and adapt to last minute changesForklift and equipment operating experience (job will certify)Must be able to lift 70 lbs.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or equivalent2 years of experience in warehouse operations/supervisor roleSUCCESS FACTORSSafety first mindset and attitudeComfortable in a team-oriented environment, where the success of the company is of paramount importanceStrong initiative and ability to work with minimum supervisionExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalSolid documentation skillsAttention to detailEffective planning and organizational skillsAdaptable, flexible, and dependableSafe & efficient forklift operationSafe & Efficient overhead crane operationQuality workmanship alwaysPracticed at critical thinking, decision making and problem solvingPositive attitude and teamwork are crucialPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment described here are typical, however not intended to be all-inclusive and are subject to change per the environment.
