Your main roles:
Participate in the installation, programming and maintenance of electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic devices and controls used in industry for process automation or energy distribution. Assembles, repairs and maintains electronic or automated circuits, devices and systems.
The duties of the Electrical Engineering Technician include but are not limited to:
Designing, developing, and testing control equipment and systems;
Installing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment and systems;
Analyze the performance of electronic and electrical components, assemblies and systems;
Consult manufacturers' manuals, circuit diagrams, and charts, to apply test and maintenance procedures for measuring instruments. Controls flow, level, pressure, temperature and other variables in manufacturing and processing;
Repair and adjust system components, such as sensors, transmitters, and programmable logic controllers or remove and replace defective parts ;
Installs control and measurement instrumentation on new or existing equipment and integrates it into processes;
Participate in the development of projects in conjunction with engineering. Make drawings, electrical diagrams, determine the choice of components and wiring of electrical panels;
Preventive and predictive maintenance of various electrical and electronic circuits;
All other related tasks
Your profile :
College diploma in electrical engineering or industrial electronics, or related field OR
AEC in Industrial Automation and Instrumentation
1 to 3 years experience in control in a manufacturing environment
Certificate in electricity an asset (CE)
