High Tech Genesis is in search of an embedded software developer to bolster our engineering team.

You'll be immersed in the advancement of top-tier embedded telecom switches and routers.

Dive into the development of next-generation SDN solutions for enterprise networks, where you'll amplify code coverage, introduce new features, and troubleshoot issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Design and develop code in support of feature assignments
2. Crafting unit test code
3. Troubleshoot and correct defects/bugs
4. Attend daily scrums
5. Collaborate with peers to resolve technical challenges

Required skills and experience:

1. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience with software development in C language
2. Experience working with L2 forwarding protocols
3. Experience working with EVPN, L2VPN, VxLan, RIB, and FIB is an asset
4. Experience with Linux and real-time operating systems
5. Experience with Python and base unit testing
6. Exceptional experience with GDB debugging tool
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
8. Able to get along with peers
9. Integrates with the team well
10. Demonstrated collaboration skills
11. Willing to ask for help and to help others
