The Cloud Architect will lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructures to deploy Bell's future commerce and experience applications. The role and responsibilities will include the following:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and architect the overall cloud infrastructure for the applications, considering scalability, reliability, and performance.
2. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Implement strategies for high availability and disaster recovery to ensure uninterrupted service and data protection in case of system failures or disasters.
3. Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security measures to protect sensitive customer data, transactions, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Scalability Planning: Plan for scalability to accommodate varying levels of traffic, especially during peak times such as sales events, and ensure optimal performance.
5. API Design and Integration: Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with external services and third-party applications.
6. Cost Management: Implement cost-effective solutions and continuously monitor and optimize resource usage to ensure efficient use of cloud resources and cost control.
7. Automation and Orchestration: Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline deployment processes, updates, and ensure consistency across the infrastructure.
8. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify and address issues, track performance metrics, and ensure the health of the commerce platform.
9. Collaboration with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure alignment with the overall cloud architecture.
10. Compliance and Auditing: Ensure that the infrastructures comply with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards, and establish auditing mechanisms for security and compliance monitoring.
11. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the cloud architecture, including diagrams, configuration details, and guidelines for maintenance and troubleshooting.
