Job description Occupational Therapist Location: Kenai, AK Hours: M-F 8-5 pm Duration: PERM (open to travelers or contracts if people would prefer those employment models) Pay Range: $93,000 (min), $127,000 Sign on bonus: 3.5% of annual salary *FULL RELOCATION PACKAGE* Requirements: Master of Occupational Therapy Degree 2 years of experience in occupational therapy evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment Experience with computerized management information systems Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Alaska, or obtained within three (3) months of hire CPR and AED certification Plusses: Experience working with cultural diversity Job Description: The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for un'ina (customer) assessment; evaluation; diagnosis, in consultation with the provider; plan of care; and evidence based intervention. The OT will assist un'ina who have an injury, illness, or de-conditioned state to improve their quality of life, manage their pain, and contribute to their overall wellness. Day to Day: Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determine plans of care in collaboration with the integrated care team Manages individualized goal-directed Occupational Therapy care through use of Occupational Therapy processes and principles Responsible as the primary therapy provider to implement, supervise and modify therapy plans of care, based on assessment of patient responses, to optimize the outcomes for each patient Document un'ina encounter findings and treatments including diagnoses, treatment plans, recommendations and prognoses Obtain un'ina informed consent to proposed interventions including risks, benefits, and any reasonable alternatives Develop and conduct in-service training programs for wellness and integrated care team staff Institute procedures in compliance with accreditation standards, participate in continuous quality improvement process and customer satisfaction activities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $93,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
